Peas, Mommy, No Peas!!!

We tried James out on some baby food at Easter. He did really well with the peas the first time. The next day, it gave him the shivers and by the third time I tried to give them to him he got the shivers, gagged, and started blowing raspberries at me whenever I brought the spoon near him.

We've now gotten that same reaction to rice cereal and squash. PawPaw and Allison gave him a taste of Whipped Cream and he shivered over that too. What a silly boy!

Easter

For Easter this year, James' Mema and Aunt Meanie (aka Aunt Mary Beth) came down to GA to visit us for 5 days and then we all went back to NC for 5 days so that PawPaw could hang out with James. James had a WONDERFUL time!! He's absolutely crazy about PawPaw, Mema, and Aunt MB.

We took James for a walk 2 hours after Mema and Aunt MB got here. While walking, a dog ran out of a house and attacked us. It was going for James (who slept through the whole thing). Aunt MB protected one side of James' stroller and I was on the other. Auntie got bit on the leg and the dog ripped a hole in my pants. I say all this to illustrate how great of an Aunt, MB is and to explain why in some of the pics she has a big bandaid on her leg.

We took James to the park a few times and he LOVED it!! He even got to have his first ride down the slide.

When we went back up to NC, James was crazy about his PawPaw. His little eyes would follow PawPaw around the room anywhere and if PawPaw dared to leave the room, James would start fussing. I told PawPaw to watch out, once James is able to walk, he'd have a shadow anywhere he went.
