Weekend in Atlanta

We went up to Atlanta so that James could see his Nana and she could celebrate his birthday with him.

James has discovered the joys of eating oreos!! Look at that face and how messy he gets!! It's straight to the bath after eating one of these.

11 Months Old

Here is James at 11 months old. Daddy got him some munchkin doughnuts to celebrate. He chowed down! The pics with the bear were hard to get this month because now that he is very mobile, he does not like to sit still. :)

Exploring His Independent Side

Since James has gotten so good at cruising along every piece of furniture we own...I decided to pick up a walker for him. We went to a consignment store and found one that he latched on to. He was pushing it all over the store and did not like having to give it up so we could check out. Once the lady rang it up and handed it back, he grabbed hold of it and wouldn't let go. :) We brought it home, cleaned it up, and boy he has been going all over the house. He loves it! Hasn't got the steering thing figured out, but hey what are parents for if not to get you unstuck? ;)











James has learned how to wave and he looks sooooo cute when he waves. I just had to try to get a video of it and luckily he complied.

I ran for the camera and luckily got back in time to catch him after he had made a seat for himself to sit on. He was so proud of himself!

James is developing more and more of a personality each day. He never fails to make me smile or make Aaron and I crack up. Here are some of the new pics we've taken look for more on Sunday when he turns 11 months old.

He loves playing with a plastic cup. It makes such great noise when he bangs it on things!

James has figured out how much fun he can have opening and closing the door. He can sit there for the longest time opening and closing it, as long as I am sitting outside the door for him to grin at when he gets it open.

Here he is trying to let me know that clothes don't actually belong in dresser drawers...apparently his socks and toys belong there.

Here is James wearing his Amber teething necklace that his Mema got for him. He looks way too cute in it. Aaron would have fussed about James wearing a necklace, but it is in dark green and brown so it looks like hunting camoflauge colors. :)
